Trans-Ontario Express is equipped with the resources to get your job done right, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have provided a list of downloadable resources if needed for your shipment requirements. If you need other resources not provided on this page please contact us directly.
BILL OF LADING
A Bill of Lading (BOL) is a legal document issued by a carrier (such as Trans Ontario Express) to acknowledge the receipt of goods for shipment. This is to be given to the driver upon pickup. It also serves as evidence of ownership and is often required for the release of goods at the destination.
An Air Waybill is a transportation document used in the air cargo industry. It functions similarly to a Bill of Lading but is specific to air shipments. There should be an AWB number on this document for the driver to receive the correct shipment.
A Commercial Invoice is a financial document provided by a seller to a buyer in international trade transactions. It outlines the details of the goods sold, including their description, quantity, unit price, and total value. Commercial invoices are used for customs clearance, taxation, and payment purposes and are a crucial part of the documentation required for international shipments. Provide this for USA shipments.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION
A Pre-Authorization Credit Card is form used to process a one-time shipment by obtaining approval from the credit card issuer to charge the quoted amount to a customer’s credit card. This can also be done over the phone. This is typically done to confirm that the customer has sufficient credit or funds available to cover the transaction. Once authorization is obtained and confirmed, we can proceed with the shipping service.
